Note: You do not need to buy/activate Sound Forge to use it as a plugin on Sony/Vegas Pro

METHOD 1 (Official)

Sound Forge (Click on "Free Trial" and make an account)

0. Click on "Free Trial" and register for an acocunt
1. Press "Download the Hub" and extract the .zip file
2. Open the setup file and press "Yes"
3. Sign in to your BorisFX Account and verify with your email code
4. Scroll down to Sound Forge and click "Install"
5. Select "Request an unrestricted trial of Sound Forge after installation" and click "Install"
6. Select "Sound Forge" and click "Install", then wait for the download to complete
7. Click "Continue", then click "NO", finally... close out of BorisFX Hub
8. Start/Restart Vegas and "élastique Timestretch" should now popup on your list of audio effects, it is NOT a VST.

METHOD 2 (Fastest)

Sounde Forge 2026.46 Offline Installer (No BorisFX Hub/Account required)

1. Go through the setup popup, you don't have to add a context menu entry or a shortcut on the desktop
2. Start/Restart Vegas and "élastique Timestretch" should now popup on your list of audio effects, it is NOT a VST.

METHOD 3 (Legacy)

Legacy (Pre-BorisFX) Sound Forge Pro Offline Installers

0. When you click on your version of SOUND FORGE Pro to download it, copy the link while in the redirect page, then paste it in your browser.
1. Check only "SOUND FORGE Pro #"
2. Go through the setup popup, you don't have to add a context menu entry or a shortcut on the desktop
3. Start/Restart Vegas and "élastique Timestretch" should now popup on your list of audio effects, it is NOT a VST.
